Review of The Battle of Shaker Heights (2003) by Miri M — 19 Apr 2008
Saw it on IFC last night. Shia was, of course, what made me watch, but the amazing dialogue was what absolutely endeared me. It also kept defying my expectations, almost as I was speculating(I often "know" what has to happen just based on my knowledge of human behavior).
Not that this annoyed me at all. I also totally related to the sucky teacher issue at the beginning.
