Review of The Bastards (2008) by Michael C — 07 Mar 2011
A very powerful effort in neorealism follows two illegal Mexican immigrants in Southern California as they deal with discrimination and struggle to find success. A particularly potent climax makes this film one of the best in the school.
Problematically, it will only harden the biases of both conservatives and social democrats.
