A great look inside an athlete's world of drug addiction. A young Leonardo Dicaprio and Mark Wahlberg are riveting but the movie lacks focus on what its trying to accomplish. Weather its a young teens drug addiction or a young teens chance at becoming a successful student athlete.
The plot loses you in a mess of random snipets of molestation, a journal full of poems that are never really revealed and at times unconvincing drug use.
