Review of The Basketball Diaries (1995) by Robert G — 29 Apr 2010
The movies strong point is it's acting. Not only by it breakout stars, Wahlberg and DiCaprio, but by everyone in the movie. This is one of the best pure acting performances, collectively, I have ever seen.
They story was good. It feels very real, because it is. But I think it could have been better, I think they might of taken to many liberties with the story. But after it is all said and done, this is a great movie.
