Review of The Basketball Diaries (1995) by Dylan K — 26 May 2010
Leonardo DiCaprio is amazing in this movie. It's storyline is gripping and dark. It not only makes you think but also pity him. The part in the locker room after the Father had gotten the police and Leo and Mark quit school is beautiful.
Leo should have won an Oscar for his depiction of a Junkie, when he went to his Mother's house and sat at the door and cried his eyes out was acting at its best.
