Review of The Baron of Arizona (1950) by Trent R — 06 Sep 2009
Interestingly, Fuller has procedural aspects cover the historical "facts" while simultaneously revealing their fabrication. Price is great, not only portraying a sly trickster but one with intellectual and romantic motives that emerge as he is humbled.
The lynch mob sequence is expertly staged, and pacing escalates rapidly to a satisfying end.
