Review of The Barkleys of Broadway (1949) by James H — 08 Feb 2010
6.5/10. This last pairing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers is certainly the least entertaining of their musicals. They lack the chemistry that was so evident in previous films. The score isn't bad, but none of the songs are very memorable.
Good production values. Another thing lacking from their previous films is a strong supporting cast.
