Review of The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) by Nickthecritick — 21 May 2023
This is easily McDonagh's best film since In Bruges. Two friends, a remote Ireland's island, irish civil war and the story of a depression and a broken friendship. Such simple elements that director's McDonagh manages with a beautiful mis en scene.
Great cinematography, great acting, great screenplay = great movie.
