Snappy dialogue, fresh characters, and a great cast. Robert Downey Jr. is at his quirkiest playing the loveable loser Harold and Val Kilmer plays against type as detective "Gay" Perry. Michelle Monaghan rounds out the main trio as the sexy actress past her prime.
Intelligent, suspenseful, and sardonic, this film is a well done mix of murder mystery and black comedy.
