Review of The Bang Bang Gang (1970) by Sameer R — 17 May 2011
One of those movies that catch you off-guard, which you don't expect to be that good but they turn out to be excellent. KISS KISS BANG BANG is surely one of those surprises. It blends humor so subtly with the proceedings, that the result is a thoroughly enjoyable murder mystery.
ROBERT DOWNEY JR gives one of his career best performance with amazing comic timing and a superb chemistry with the other leading man, VAL KILMER. The narrative screenplay, witty dialogs and a fast and layered script always keeps you on your toes and even when the mystery is solved, you still have to combine all the set pieces in your mind to figure out the end.
