I adore Shane Black written movies (Last Boy Scout, Long Kiss Goodnight, Lethal Weapon - the list goes on and on) and with Kiss Kiss, his feature length directorial debut, he pulls out all his normal stunts yet the film noire-esque storytelling with Downey Jr.
given free reign to be Downey Jr. makes it a great comedy. Kilmer is also excellent as Gay Perry.
