The Band's Visit is a fine example of how simply kept movies should be. It consists of many many small wonderful moments that would have you laughing and touched in the same time. The scene in the skating ring, which obviously is one of the most highlighted moment from the movie, was an instant classic to me.

I found myself bursting out in laughter and being inevitably touched by the whole sequence. I think this movie was one of the most worthy 89 minutes spent on this year of my life.
