One of the greatest film musicals. All of the musical numbers are great especially the superb Dancing In the Dark sequence and the whole final act of the film. Fred Astaire is great as well as Cyd Charisse.
Like most musicals, the plot takes a bit of a back seat to the direction, music, choreography, camerawork and set pieces. Great movie. A must see for fans of musicals. 10/10.
