Review of The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005) by Jacob D — 23 May 2009
Well, I'll start off by saying that the performances are all pretty good. I'm not really sure if Daniel Day-Lewis can do much less though. He and Camilla Belle work well together as a father and daughter.
That being said, the rest of the movie is a little lackluster in my opinion. I just wasn't really drawn into it. I can't really determine why because, as I said, all of the performances were pretty good.
I guess the movie just wasn't really my cup of tea.
