Review of The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005) by Markus W — 27 May 2007
Okay drama, which is too much focused on putting Daniel Day-Lewis into the frame. He's a great actor, but Camille Belle steals the show while Paul Dano and Jena Malone in their support roles deliver a better performance.
It's unfortunate that the strong young cast is always put visually in the background once Day-Lewis enters the scene.
