Review of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) by Andremax — 04 Feb 2019
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs cheats the viewer bringing a title of one story out of a couple of tails without relation one of each other a la Lovecraft and Poe.
Every tail trips in moments of fresh violence breathed of their No Country for Old Men, thematic characteristics of opus as Eastwood's, Tarantino's and Spielberg's, in general with more goals than fails.
