For me a new Joel and Ethan Coen movie is an event. There are so many pearls in their filmography I could make a necklace out of it! That is why I was not so excited to hear that the last one, this one, was an anthology.
Not a big fan. But I had faith in the two brothers and here we are. So what about "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs"? Disappointing. Every story is different and I think there is no point in giving each one a review.
Plus, none of them really deserve one. It is enough to know that they go from being decent at best, and tedious and plain ugly at worse. Everything has already been seen and done before. This ballad find itself fighting for worse Coen movie with "Hail, Caesar", and I really do not care for a winner.
