Review of The Bad Guys (2022) by Benjanzen — 13 May 2022
The Bad Guys is a lot of fun, and one of the best Dreamworks films in years. It's exciting, energetic and lively, accompanied by the most unique and stylish animation I've ever seen from the studio. Lots of fun references in here as it takes inspiration from other crime flicks such as Oceans 11 (and even a little touch of Tarantino).
That being said, not all the jokes land and it can often feel as if it doesn't know who its target audience is.
