Review of The Bad Batch (2017) by Chris A — 26 Oct 2017
I think in all of my years of watching films I've never quite seen a more absurd introduction to a character as that of Jason Momoa's "Miami Man". A character painting a young child, topless and adorned with his own name tattooed across his chest, who then listens to Karma Chameleon on his casette walkman before breaking the neck of a young woman and cooking her.
This intro, as utterly absurd as it is, perfectly sets the tone for the next 90 minutes.
