Review of The Back-Up Plan (2010) by Michael R — 15 Nov 2010
Utterly ridiculous. This movie employs typical and well-worn paths of romantic comedy without giving it any sort of freshness. Not to mention, it tries to use stereotypical pregnancy jokes in a way that's not even plausible.
Granted, I've never been pregnant, but I'm fairly positive that you don't find out you're pregnant and then the very next weekend endure intense craving, added sensitive to the point of getting an orgasm from kissing on the neck, etc.
Lastly, I can't say I ever bought Alex O'Loughlin as a guy truly in love. Perhaps they simply lacked the chemistry, but it just wasn't working. This is one to skip.
