Review of The Babysitters (2008) by Bill R — 13 May 2008
Yes I'm going to brag, my friend is in this movie so I was excited seeing it. If you know the character "Brenda", then you know who I'm talking about. But that aside. The movie itself wasn't too bad. Sure the 2nd half felt like a little out of place, while the first half played more of a comedy. The performances ranged from strong too ho hum. John Leguizamo really gives nothing special here, makes you wander why he even played the part in the first place. I've also been following David Ross's work, and by that I mean this and THE WOODS. The dude has talent, but I don't think he's found his style just yet.
Overall:
Friends of Louisa Krause, her appearance is worth the price of admission alone. For the general audiences, I'd probably wait for DVD.
