Review of The Babysitters (2008) by Juan H — 12 Nov 2008
This was a disturbing film to watch just knowing what the premise of the film is. Waterston and Leguizamo both give good performances. There is an off balance of the different groups of characters. The female supporting roles bring more of a dramatic sense to the film where as the supporting male roles bring the comedic part to the film.
This just didn't work. Overall, the main storyline was good but the film loses its focus with the expanding subplots throughout the film. Nixon's character's storyline was useless to the film's overall story.
Another part that was unnecessary.
