Review of The Babysitters (2008) by Emily B — 29 Nov 2009
Shirley is an awkward, brainy teen with a crush on the father of the children she babysits. When the walls between him and his wife become to much to handle he finds comfort in Shirley's arms but out of guilt begins paying her 200 dollars a night. Shirley and her friends begin a "babysitting business" and begin rolling in the dough not thinking of the consequences until it's too late.
This was just a very disturbing movie about men taking advantage of teenage girls and their insecurities. I've been trying to not think that men are all scumbags and this film didn't help. "We are the best thing that will ever happen to these girls." Yea ok.
