Review of The Babysitters (2008) by Jennie R — 30 Jan 2011
While tagged as a black comedy, I found this more of a drama. I was riveted by the innocence of this girl and her taking a risk and the cost of that risk. The director deflowers layer by layer that it becomes believable that this girl could have reached the point she reaches.
What was missing was the whole set up of her business. She gets money for sex & Bam! she is now becoming a madam. That needed to be developed a little more into the plot. Other than that, the film was well put together and worth a watch.
