This film was very impressive.
If it weren't for some "dragging" scenes, I would even go as far as saying it is a flawless film. It is very beautifully shot, and the set design is something to be admired, costume design as well.
Julia ormond was absolutely WONDERFUL in this film. I don't think I have seen her elsewhere, but I will not soon forget how magnetic her performance was. Even without a lingering view of her fate, she gave you a vivid idea with her screams.
Peter greenaway does it again.
