Review of The Babadook (2014) by Emily B — 10 Nov 2015
Moral of the story: not all is in your mind, but in your stomach. Eat well, sleep well and alucinations will stop....would they? No pills, just basics. Anyway, this film (is weird sometimes to say this but in this case counts) the short film was nice (even the ending when she gives him milk instead of worms as on the film *oops, spoilers*) but the film did a better job even on art design *that book was amazing!*.
Anyway, it has some flaws (did not find mistakes so great editing also). The music score...in here I did find cliches (any film like this uses similar sounds and music to "scare" but it did not *have seen lots of films like this and usually they are not horror or terror movies, just comedy or drama to me.
This one is more DRAMA like). The cast did a fantastic job too *at 1st I did not like the kid but I did since his role evolves bit by bit and that is great*. Anyway, enjoy and Babadook, dook, dook LOL - November 2015 review.
