Review of The Babadook (2014) by Chris G — 30 Jul 2015
I really, really wanted to like this movie. And I loved it for the first thirty odd minutes when it was about a creepy book and paranoia. But then it most became about the lead actress making mean faces and being nuts, which was boring and done better in other films.
Also, holy crap, that was the single worst child actor this side of Jake Lloyd. I was actively rooting for the Babadook to end this family.
