If you want to see a great scary movie for Halloween I recommend THE BABADOOK. What if the monster your son swears is hiding under the bed or in the closet is real? That's partly what this movie is about.
It has a 98% rating on the Tomatometer. It has been endorsed by Stephen King and William Friedkin, the director of THE EXORCIST. The editing in the film is amazing. It's the debut of Australian filmmaker Jennifer Kent.
Hopefully she makes more good films. If you want to see something creepy, scary, and fun (or at least fun for those who like being scared) see this film! Others beware!
