Review of The Babadook (2014) by Bruno D — 26 Mar 2016
The Babadook is one of the best horror movies of this generation. The film has really great suspense, great performances and great phycological themes that really messes with your head, and is rather disturbing in the best way possible.
If you watch it expecting it to be a monster, horror film you may be a bit disappointed because this isn't in your face jump scares where you see the monster every other scene. The monster is very subtle and used very little and when it was used it was done very well.
