Effective thriller with a powerful message. Jennifer Kent delivers genuine horror that builds from the stress of everyday life. Amelia (Essie Davis) and Samuel (Noah Wiseman) live their lives with depression and pain, but they are both each other's source of happiness.

When the Babadook comes into the story, they team together to battle away the monster in their lives. The Babadook has a touching story that resonates with you even after the credits roll.
