Review of The Babadook (2014) by Simon M — 24 Aug 2015
The beginning was quite interesting and well fashioned, but things started to head on a downward slope towards the middle of the film. The special effects were inexpertly done and looked rather inexpensive.
The ending was a down-right disappointment; not to be too revealing, but things got uninteresting and tacky and did not leave much to the imagination. I am quite surprised of the positive reviews in great number, as this movie rather did not meet the expectations the public had set for me.
