Effectively creepy psychological thriller with some very strong performances and dead on direction. It looks very creepy as well, with dark brooding set pieces and photography. It begs to ask the question who's the real monster here, the mother, the son.
..or the Babadook? It refreshing to see a horror film that scares with genuine terror as opposed to blood and guts gore.
