How is this so highly rated? Sure the sound and (some of) the cinematography is impressive (hence the rating) but the story is so boring and un-scary. It feels like something i've seen 1000times already! The woman actress is great but the child is shit and takes you out of the movie anytime on screen.
The plot is so recycled that you know what's about to happen until the end when nothing makes sense. Yes, the sub-plot about depression and losing a loved one is obvious, but not grounded or interesting enough to care about.
I found this movie to be nothing like its hype and disappointing in the execution.
