A subtly creepy period horror. Boasting a stellar cast who unlike most horror movie casts they have the ability to draw you in and deliver high calibre performances. Set in and around a 1920's boarding school that keeps you guessing throughout.
Okay the final twist is a little unnecessary and perhaps an overused twist but The Awakening is a clever and entertaining movie.
