Review of The Awakening (2011) by Nicole M — 30 Mar 2012
This film must have been forgotten about or even dropped from Cinemas as I dont recall this being released during 2011. Not a bad ghost story, and the acting is good. There was just some more suspence missing.
Note the main little boy in the film is one of the Starks kids in Game of thrones!! so that gives it extra points, as well as Dominic West who is fantastic in this movie as a war veteran from the first world war.
def worth watching but with the woman in black recently released it doesnt really stand up that well against that or other similar films such as the innocents and the others.
