Review of The Awakening (2010) by Massimo B — 24 Apr 2012
Much better than all the films dealing with ghost houses and little dead kids running around. It had very nice performances (I'm really starting to love Rebecca Hall), atmosphere and characters. I thought the plot was over-thought and over-done, but I still enjoyed watching it.
Definitely worth a view - it can actually be scary at times, and the setting is sublime.
