Review of The Awakening (2010) by Siri B — 15 Mar 2013
Decent old-fashioned ghost story. Recreates the post-First World War period with much gloomy atmosphere, evoking the sense of the lost generation that traumatised the nation. It's hardly original and no game-changer, but a well-told pulp horror with a very likeable cast.
