Some great acting from John C. Reilly in a supporting role, and a few nice moments, but after seeing this I'm still not sure it was a film that needed to be made. The Tommy Lee Jones TV Movie "The Amazing Howard Hughes" is almost exactly the same with more about Hughes' later years, and was probably the better of the two.
