Review of The Aviator (2004) by Michael M — 21 May 2011
"The Way Of The Future......".
This sure is the way of the future, I hate to say it, but I had absoulutly no idea who Howard Hughes was, I heard his name before, but I never knew much about the guy.
Well I'm quite glad to say that I have a very good idea who he is now.
Where to begin on this film? This film is very strong, Leonardo DiCaprio gives his performance of a lifetime, as does Cate Blanchett.
The Sky is the limit for this movie, what I mean is, this film achieves so much, and it doesn't feel like it's even trying.
I don't think there is much else to say, This film is striking in it's chracters and just as marvelous to watch.
Overall "The Aviator" is, as usual, another of the many terrific showpieces Directed by Martin Scorsese, Legend of Filmmaking.
