The Aviator is one of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's most underrecognized efforts, featuring one of DiCaprio's finest performances as the obsessive compulsive Howard Hughes. It's an extremely different film from the critically acclaimed director, which succeeds tremendously.
