Review of The Aviator (2004) by Matt B — 02 Jun 2015
The Aviator is one of the most fascinating character studies I've ever seen. No icon is more compelling than Howard Hughes. He was an aviator, Hollywood producer, millionaire, and womanizer. He was also mentally ill and suffered from a SEVERE case of OCD, so bad that he locked himself in his screening room for months.
His life is worth telling onscreen, and Martin Scorsese has crafted a truly mesmerizing biography of a deeply flawed man. Leonardo DiCaprio is unbelievable. Oscar please!
