This is one of the best superhero movies of all time, and the best Marvel movie of all time in my opinion. This movie really blew my expectations out of the water and it satisfies on every level. For me, this is an instant classic all the way through where every single hero has their greatest moments whether it was a dialogue scene or an action scene.
The story is not the greatest story ever told, but with the way the movie came out, it was interesting all the way through and there was not one dull boring moment. The acting was really great here and all the actors play their characters really well and you can't imagine anybody else playing these characters.
This film has character development and you do care about the people you watch on screen and these are not hollow characters at all. The movie also finds a way to incorporate humor into its story and tension filled situations.
Tom Hiddleston played such an incredible villain as Loki and he was full of personality and menace all the way through. Joss Whedon has done a marvelous job directing the movie and he knows when to go for an action scene and when to go for more dialogue filled moments.
The visual effects were incredible and the action sequences were exciting whenever they were on screen and they were some of the best that Marvel has ever come up with. Overall, The Avengers is a dream project that payed off so well, it is one of my favorite movies and it is a fantastic example of pure entertainment.
