Review of The Avengers (2012) by Don W — 01 May 2015
All the reviews really are right. Whedon's succeeded in making a movie of larger than life characters seem very concise (and not like 5 mini movies as some worried), added his blend of action (folks familiar with Serenity will recognize some of the CGI) and humour, and ultimately wound up with a movie that should be amongst the year's best when all done.
Go see it now. Really (just don't pay for 3D).
