Review of The Avengers (2012) by Alexis D — 16 Aug 2015
This film was the s**t. The character interaction was gold. The plot, while very simple and kinda lacking on explaining who the enemies were, was enjoyable and fun to watch. What really sealed this movie, though, was the action.
This movie was built up as THE Superhero action movie, and by god, it f**king delivered. From beginning to end we had fight scene after fight scene after fight scene. But the big thing is that all the action scenes had a purpose, and they were incredibly gripping.
Especially at the climax, when at every movement of the camera, there was a new superhero displaying just how much of a badass they are. The only complaints I have with this movie is that the cinematography was a bit annoying during the first few scenes.
It didn't stay still for more then five seconds.
