Review of The Avengers (2012) by Luqman S — 03 May 2016

I know people are going to disagree with me on this, but this movie was kind of disappointing. The acting was a little weak, besides Robert Downy Jr., and the Captain America custom was awful. If I was 10 years old then I would of loved it cause of the explosions and giant alien monsters flying around.

Just like my little brother loved the 2 Joel Schumacher Batman movies when he was 7. But I'm not 10 and I hated those Batman movies. I love comic books and love seeing them made into movies. But this isn't even close to the best comic book movie.

I would put The Dark Knight, Kick-Ass, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and the first Sam Raimi Spider-Man ahead of this. However, it is better the the stupid Fantastic Four movies and the first Hulk movie.

Speaking of the Hulk, I really liked the Hulk a lot in this movie, which is a surprise cause I am not a Hulk fan at all. He was probably my favorite character in the movie and was kind of disappointed that there wasn't more scenes of him like the one he did with Loki.

But all in all it was a good movie, not great but good and entertaining.
