Its not the most prefect example of TV to film transtitions, they changed things, kept things, most improtantly the surreal going-ons from the TV show and the witty banter. Ralph Finnes made a pretty good John Steed, I like Uma Thurman but she isnt Mrs.
Peel. Its a bit brillant casting Sean Connery as the villian. The movie has style, over the top its very good looking 60's britain in the 90's, its just one of those movies not everyone gets. Besides you get to see Sir Sean in a bear costume.
