A co-worker was telling me about his root canal procedure. I could share his pain. If you don't like Depp it should not deter you from watching this. He's completely absent. Theron does a great copy-paste job from her role in "The devil's advocate".
Neat thing though is the melange of modern and fifties parafinelia, which forces me to be lenient in my rating. Another movie that is atrocious on so many levels you can't help but wonder how it ever came to be.
