Review of The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004) by Paul C — 05 Jan 2010
A film inspired by actual events, it is certainly no easy watch. At it's core Sean Penn delivers a performance that illicits both pity and scorn on the protagonist - a pathetic, whiny salesman, whose life is unravelling and is unable to accept the less pure traits in those he encounters! Depressing and impressive but one viewing may well be more than enough!
