Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Jacob A — 12 Oct 2010
This is great cinema. A throwback to the times in which film's weren't rushed or cut short of time needed. "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" runs at 160 minutes long and that might be to long for some peoples taste but due to some of the best damn cinematography Ive seen done for a long time and the two lead's performances you'll forgive it alot and hopefully understand why it is so long. Oh and the director deserves a lot of the praise as well, this is truely his work.
5 STARS.
