Review of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) by Roy F — 27 Dec 2010

I had always wanted to this movie for Lots of reasons, there was the legend of Jesse James this person was someone I was very interested in. Then there was who involved the producers the Scott brothers and the director who did chopper and loved so another biopic kind of movie, And the cast is just amazing you have brad pitt who is amazing actor and Casey Affleck who was made for robert ford.

I love to see westerns back and this amazing how its done and its 2hrs+ and it all works from the acting, the story but that score fits this movie and is just amazing. the setting the story is amazing and first act was awesome but after Jesse James is dead its interesting to see how Ford acts and changes after killing him and that ending is amazing but really fitting and I love the voice over stuff it does feel like a history doc.

Everything about this movie is amazing and no wonder why it is my favorite films. Just what the directing did with how this movie looks and added with the score it is just amazing to watch and I can't remember how many times I have scene this movie, it is just amazing.
